Spreading habit, absolute ground hugging mat. Sparkling light blue flowers from late spring through fall, attracting butterflies. Cold temperatures create bronzy purplish winter foliage, and in mild winter climates turns a burgundy red. In colder climates it will be herbaceous. 'Waterperry' can take heat, so plant it where it will soften a path or brick walk, or in a particularly hot spot of a rock garden. Will drape out of pots beautifully.
