Copper canyon daisy is a big growing marigold - it gets 6 ft tall and 4 ft wide. It isn't like its puny relatives that we buy in 6 packs. Strongly scented foliage and a profusion of marigold like flowers in fall and early spring. Flowering is daylight sensitive - flowers will not form until days are short. You can prune this plant to be small, but be sure to stop pruning by mid summer so fall bloom can form.

This plant will grow in very hot and dry location. It forms a beautiful plant, but watch out for the smell - some people really like it, some people think it is pretty stinky. Don't plant it too close to walkways or sitting areas, as the fragrance may be too overpowering. Used as a medicinal in its native Mexico.
