Dwarf pomegranates are beautiful plants in the landscape, and in mild climates will be evergreen. Growing 3 - 4 feet tall and as wide, they make a lovely hedge. Beautiful red blossoms in the summer grow to be pomegranate fruit that are about 1/3 the size of standard pomegranates. While this makes them far less desirable for eating, if you want to harvest and dry the flowers and fruit before the fruit is fully mature they are lovely for crafting and wreathmaking. They are perfect to brighten up the Thanksgiving and Christmas table. Dwarf Pomegranates are also suitable for bonsai due to their smaller leaves and fruit.
