Evergreen. 4 in. Sun to part shade.
Light green yellow foliage on very hardy groundcover. Mild oregano flavor. Unlike many oregano which prefer full sun golden oregano prefers some afternoon shade - in the heat of the summer it really suffers in full sun. Small white flowers up to a foot above the foliage in summer, but the foliage is really the star here. Mix with Salvia involucrata, hardy geraniums, or Gaura 'Passionate Rainbow'.
Grows to only 4 inches tall, but 2 feet wide. Can take a bit of foot traffic, so plant between shady stepping stones.
