Very vigorous, fast growing groundcover, growing 2 1/2 feet tall and as wide. Deep blue blossoms over extended period, May-November. Excellent choice for dry areas, as a groundcover around roses or at the front of a perennial bed. Cats are usually not attracted to it. Honeybee plant.
Plant in full sun in well drained soil. 'Six Hills Giant' is really tough, at the end of winter prune back hard to the new growth. It is long lived, it takes some foot traffic - even the dogs can run through it and not harm it!
Although this plant is very drought tolerant, it is also very tolerant of wet conditions as well.
