'Grappenhall' is one of the largest lavenders we grow, reaching almost 4 feet. Foliage is dense green, with 18 inch flower stems and flowers that are 5 inches long or more. Flowers are lavender-violet, with greenish violet calyces. This is a great plant for large hedges. Flowers are lighter colored than most other lavandins, but the fragrance is good and dried flowers are great for using in crafting projects.
