'Passionate Rainbow' is a lovely new addition to the Passionate series of Gaura, with very compact growth and green leaves that are neatly edged in white with tinges of pink. New growth is a rosy pink, and stems are red. Soft pink flowers with magenta centers bloom late spring to fall. Growing to 2 feet, this is a wonderful addition to a large container.
Prune back by half in early spring to promote dense, bushy growth. Remove old flowers to maintain a longer bloom. 'Passionate Rainbow' grows well in full sun but in hottest climates will adapt well to afternoon shade.
