This scented geranium can grow out of control in the right spot, maturing at 6 feet in width or more. It prefers afternoon shade in hot, dry locations, and is terrific to plant somewhere where you can sit in a chair and rub its big, soft furry leaves that smell strongly of peppermint. A terrific hanging basket specimen, or in a childrens garden. It can be used for cooking and teas, and is quite striking in floral arrangements. A bit more tender than many of the scented, hard freezes can kill the plant. Toss some frost protection over it if nights are lower than 32 degrees.
