Semi-evergreen. 2 ft. Sun to Part Shade.
This is a very old fashioned scented geranium, widely used to make topiary standards. Multiple stems can be braided or wound together, and tops can be pruned heavily to make into a tidy rounded shape. The leaves are small and delicate, very crinkled and frilly, and the fragrance is a bright, cheery lemon. The bi colored pink blooms are surprisingly large, and very showy. This is a traditional variety used in finger bowls, where a pretty little china bowl of water with fresh lemon geranium leaves floating would be set beside each dinner plate for guests to dip their fingers in between courses.
