This is one of the toughest, fastest growing ground covers around! It is a California native, first found in San Francisco. In coastal gardens no additional water is needed, but inland gardeners will want to give deep, occasional watering and use it as an understory plant. This coyote brush will grow 2 feet tall and up to 8 feet wide. Shear in the early spring to rejuvenate. Flowers are in late spring, small white and mostly inconspicuous.
