An unusual Stachys, with mounded clumps of deep green leaves, long, narrow and textured. In midsummer sturdy spikes of big lavender rose flower spikes rise 12 to 16 inches above the foliage. Great for containers, or mixed in with sunny low growers such as Saponaria ocymoides.
