Native to Australia, this lovely sun loving perennial looks lovely in the garden all year long. It is often mistaken for a small eucalyptus, because the rounded blue grey foliage clasps around the stems much like a eucalyptus. It is a surprise though, with long clusters of small lavender blue flowers in early summer. If you deadhead the plant, it will bloom again in the fall. It can also be cut back to the ground to rejuvenate the plant. Plant in full sun with average to low water.
