FLOWER WATER POWER

Flower water, often called hydrosol, is the residual product resulting from the distillation process.  For a long time it was thrown away as a useless byproduct, but more recently it has been discovered to be extremely useful, and is often the primary product now being distilled for its beauty and medicinal qualities.

Hydrosols can be used in food, cocktails and mocktails, and skincare.  They can be used medicinally and as disinfectant and cleaning supplies.  They can be used in laundry practices to scent and soften cloths.  They can be used as body rinse, hair rinse, and even as part of an insect repellents.  The list is as endless as the number of plants that can be distilled!

Join Brita and Rose to get a variety of ideas, recipes and some hands on experience making some fun products using hydrosols.

This is a great companion class to take with Saturday's distillation class, but isn't a requirement.

Sunday, June 21th 10AM to 1 PM

Fee for class is $60
