The dwarf curry plant is very much like the full sized version, but leaves, flowers and overall size are much smaller, growing to no more than 10 inches. The fragrance of the leaves is of curry, although the flavor is bitter and it is not commonly used for cooking. The dwarf curry is great for bonsai. It is a good container plant, or to make into a small topiary. It is very drought tolerant and deer resistant.
Plant in full sun with good drainage. Plant with dwarf English lavenders such as L. angustifolia 'Hidcote' or 'Munstead'.
