The seed grown species of this plant can quickly become a vicious weed, spreading quickly throughout an entire neighborhood! Selected forms such as 'Corrie's Gold' do not set seed. It is a smaller growing (to 2 feet) open plant, with gold edged foliage and long prolific sprays of pinkish-white apple blossom type flowers. Bloom can continue from May through October, although mid season pruning helps perk up the plant. It does well in full sun or a bit of afternoon shade, and good drainage.
