Caucasian Daphne is a beautiful semi-evergreen shrub for the shade garden. The clusters of white flowers are wonderfully fragrant, reminiscent of citrus blooms. The shrub which slowly reaches 4 feet high by 4 feet wide needs average water and usually some shade. Our plant started life under a walnut tree, but when the tree had to be removed years later, the daphne survived the change to full sun with no issues. Blooms start around June and can continue sporadically through fall. Can be deciduous in some climates.
