Evergreen. 3-4 ft. Sun to Part Shade.
Striking succulent with purple rosettes on long stems. Can branch near the base of the stem. Mature older plants can have yellow star shaped flowers in conical clusters above the rosettes. The stem will die off after bloom. Plant reaches three to four feet high and one to two feet wide. Deer resistant and drought tolerant. As a winter growing plant, it does best with deep infrequent watering most of the year. It is semi dormant in the summer and early fall which is when the foliage is at its darkest.
