Blueberry Bushes
Two different varieties of same type (highbush, etc) for maximum fruiting
Plant within 4-5 feet, native bees pollinate
Prune oldest branches to the ground to thin shrub
Do not shear
Fertilize sparingly in Spring, sensitive to overfertilizing
Check pH, too high will not bloom
Blueberries like a low PH of 4.5 to 6.0, with 5.5 being optimal, and they like to grow in actively decomposing organic matter.
