AROMATHERAPY AND AROMATHERAPY GARDENING
This aromatherapy class is designed to help folks safely use essential oils for common issues and skin care preparations. I’ve taught this class for more than 25 years and it’s a good beginner level class on how to use these oils safely, what they do, common ones that are safe, how they are made, what the difference is between fragrance oils and essential oils, what does therapeutic grade actually mean. We will also discuss what things can be dangerous when using EOs and how to determine a high quality essential oil. This class is not associated with any direct marketing essential oil companies and therefore is just non partial information on the use of these very concentrated medicinal substances.
You will learn which plants have aromatherapy properties and what they are used for and how to grow enough for personal use and or distilling into essential oils and hydrosols (class on distilling is being offered the day before this class).
Creative ideas for making your own aromatherapy garden and garden design will also be discussed. A garden walk to experience the plants is also included, so please dress accordingly.
The class is limited to 20
Cost is $50
