Evergreen. 1 ft. Sun.
Similar to English thyme, but the French will tell you there is no comparison! Leaves are much narrower, and the plant is more open and woody. The flavor is sweeter than the English or German thymes, with a bit of a sharp 'tang' at the end. This is a necessity for French cooking, stews, soups, and bouquet garni.
Grow in full sun with excellent drainage and not much water once it is established. Prune or pinch frequently to increase the leaf production. Grows to 10 inches.
