A compact Holy Basil for your garden or containers growing 12 to 18 inches with light-green, soft leaves and ball-shaped habit that makes it a mini-shrub. Aromatic, mild spicy scent with hints of sweetness. As a medicinal tea plant all parts of the plant can be used for making tea, including the stems, leaves, flowers, and seeds. Has a very good resistance to downy mildew. It is an annual plant that completes its life cycle in one season but will grow readily from seed. Harvest frequently to encourage continuous growth. Flowers are light lavender.
