An unusual flower color for a butterfly bush. The deep yellow blooms have a bright orange eye, and are on long spikes all summer long. If pruned after the first bloom, smaller blooms throughout the remainder of the summer will follow. This selection is more often deciduous, even in milder winter areas. Foliage is a grey green, with a slight weeping habit. It is not as winter hardy as most butterfly bushes. It is an excellent cut flower, with a lovely sweet fragrance.
Plant in full sun, with little water once established.
