Carne Asada Marinade

Carne Asada Marinade

A very traditional recipe, perfect for marinating up to 6 lbs of meat.  This will give a delicious spicy citrus flavor and tenderize the meat.


  • ¾ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup red wine vinegar
  • ½ orange, sliced
  • ⅓ cup lime juice
  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce 
  • ¼ bunch cilantro, stems cut off and leaves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried Mexican oregano
