This tidy low growing clumper has violet purple flowers on dramatic glowing purple stems. It is an excellent new selection from Germany, introduced in 2004. Very long blooming, particularly when deadheaded regularly. Plant as a border plant, around roses, or in containers.

Full sun or a bit of afternoon shade, it is very drought tolerant although will bloom better with regular garden water. Excellent in mixed perennial beds.
