Salvia greggii 'Blue Note' is a low growing, compact Autumn Sage with blue violet blooms over a long period, from April through November in central California. It grows best in full sun and good drainage, and is a repeat bloomer if sheared lightly when the flowers are spent, although often the blooms look great for many months. It grows to 18 inches tall and about 24 inches wide, and will sneak its way around other plants to fill in a bare spot.
