LAVENDER WREATH WORKSHOP
Neighbors Morningsun Herb Farm and Soul Food Farm grow several fields of lavender flowers together, which we make into essential oil and hydrosol, as well as small batch body care products. Many of the beautiful lavender stems are sold fresh, but we hang and dry plenty so we can use it for crafting once the growing season is over and we can sit and enjoy ourselves with our favorite plant. This is a great chance for lavender lovers to have a hands on experience to create a beautiful and fragrant lavender wreath! Choose deep purples, lavenders and even silvery white dried lavender flower stems to make a one of a kind wreath to grace your home for the holidays and beyond, or perhaps to give as a special gift. Farm owners Alexis Koefoed and Rose Loveall will demonstrate several techniques for making a wreath on 12 inch metal backing.
Because of Covid restrictions, class will be limited to only 6 people so each person will have their own table and plenty of social distancing. Please bring your own clippers and gloves. Disposable gloves will be available and clippers will be available for sale. Hot herb tea and lavender cookies will be served to complete your stress free lavender experience. $30.00 + $35.00 materials fee.
