Carex 'Ice Dance' is easy to grow in medium to wet soil. It can be grown in part shade to full shade, although the leaf color is richer in shadier conditions.
Carex 'Ice Dance' is a dense, spreading sedge rising to 12" tall. It is grown mainly for its foliage effect. The leaves are grass like and erect with a dark green center and clean white borders. The flowers in late spring are brownish and insignificant. This sedge is evergreen in milder winter climates.
