TALL PLANTS: Some of our plants are extra tall and can’t be cut-back for shipping without removing all the foliage. In these cases, we use two shipping spaces in the box to accommodate the extra height. These plants will count as two plants when using the above tables to determine your shipping rate.

Mail order is active in the Spring (March, April, May, and June), and Fall (September, and October), dates will vary from year to year.  We will not ship under very hot or very cold conditions. Mail order will resume in Spring of 2022.

Sorry, we cannot take advance orders for future delivery.  All orders requesting future delivery will be cancelled, and the payment will be voided.

The root balls of individual plants are wrapped in plastic to maintain soil moisture. Plants may be topped or pruned to prevent damage.

We ship throughout the Contiguous United States, except where restricted by law. Restrictions are listed under individual plant descriptions.

When you place your order online you’ll receive an automatic order confirmation by email.

Due to the unpredictable nature of nursery plants, we may not at times be able to fill some items on your order. In these cases we will ship the in-stock portion of your order, and adjust your charges accordingly (plants, tax, and shipping and handling).  Please add a note to your order if there are items that MUST ship with your order.  If these are items are unavailable, your entire order will be cancelled, and the payment will be voided.

We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

If a box arrives damaged, please do not refuse delivery. Open the box immediately to assess any damage to plants. Plants are very flexible and resilient, so a few broken branches usually don’t result in any lasting damage. Give the plants a chance to recover. We will be happy to send you a refund for the original purchase price of plants that arrive with considerable damage or that fail to thrive within 30 days of receipt. Please report damaged plants and merchandise within 48 hours of receipt. Shipping charges are not refundable.
