Vervain is a perennial medicinal herb native to Europe. Lobed leaves are medium green and hairy. Flowers are small and mauve, opening gradually up the stem of the narrow plant. Prefers well drained soil in a sunny location ad will self sow. Medicinal and attracts butterflies. USDA Zone 4 to 8.
