'Richard Gray' is a short bushy plant, growing to 15 inches. Leaves are silvery-grey, with vibrant violet corollas and pubescent dark violet-blue flower buds (calyces). This is a good choice for a dry hot spot in the garden, with little or no overhead watering and excellent drainage. It is excellent grown on a hillside or other very dry conditions. Full sun is a must for this plant.
'Richard Gray' was first grown at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, England.
